How does RY display specific content in properties ?
When you start adding requirements to your pages, the recommendation is to use tables. Each column will then be indexed as a description or properties of the requirement.
Sometimes, users can include various types of content in those cells, from simple images to other apps macros.
Can you embed regular Confluence links ?
It is possible to include any links inside the requirement’s content. If you embed Confluence links, you can customize the link presentation, e.g. inline, explicit static labels, links with previews, embedded full content etc.
Confluence does not allow us to use the custom link presentation and we can only render the exact URL of the link in the detail.
For example, see the different types of links in this table, and how it is represented in the Traceability Matrix:

What about other native markup like images, tables, calendar dates?
You can include other types of content in your properties, like images, tables, dates, and attachments. We will be able to display them in the traceability matrix.
Note that if you use an inline view of an attachment, it may take some time to load and won’t appear straight away. If you click on the attachment card, it will download the file.

What about specific non-native macros, from other apps ?
Integrations with other apps on the marketplace can be tricky if the value inside the macro is not accessible in the ADF (Atlassian Document Format) of the page.
For example, macros from other apps that we index are:
Scriptrunner macros,
Comala macros,
RY Dropdown macros
RY Calculation macros
If you are using a specific app and notice that we do not properly index its content, please feel free to reach out on the support so we can investigate : https://support.requirementyogi.com/
