New RY Champion

RY Champions were created to add more granularity to permissions, and allow users to manage some parts of Requirement Yogi without having to ask to their Confluence instance administrators.

Before:

• External Properties were management in the Confluence Administration > RY Administration > External Properties. Only Confluence administrators could create and edit them.

• Validation Rules, created and editable by space administrators only.

• Variants, created and editable by space administrators only.

Now:

• Your Confluence Instance administrator must create a group RY-Champion and assign power users of Requirement Yogi to manage External Properties, Validation Rules and Variants.

• To become a RY Champion of space Y, a user must be a member of the RY-Champion group and a space administrator of space Y.
