Select specific requirements for a baseline

If you want to select specific requirements to be baselined and not all of them. For example you only want released requirements to be in a baseline, and not all draft requirements which have not been implemented.

It is possible to use a search query to baseline requirements from a variant and freeze them:

  • Click on ‘Create Baseline’

  • Enter a name, and a description.

  • Click on ‘Select requirements’.

...

  • Use the search syntax, click on ‘Add all’ to add all resulting requirements.

  • If you want to select only some of them, you can use the checkboxes.

    • 💡The checkboxes are paginated. If you tick the first page, they will be saved and you will be able to switch page and tick them again.

  • 💡You can perform multiple queries and click on ‘Add all’. The total number is showing at the bottom left. You can clear the selection there as well.

  • In the end, click on 'Freeze n requirements'.
